Javier Sagrera, ready to take on the challenge at Motorland

The Spanish driver will once again get behind the wheel of his single-seater at the Motorland Aragón track, after a three-week break in Eurocup-3. Sagrera will try to continue progressing towards his goal of reaching the top of the podium, this time on a Spanish track.

Everything is set for the second round of Eurocup-3. Javier Sagrera will have another opportunity this weekend to continue progressing and showcase his talent at the helm of Palou Motorsport's single-seater. This time, he does it in his "home" circuit, as the stage will be the Spanish track of Motorland Aragón.

Three weeks after the last race at Spa-Francorchamps, the 19-year-old young driver returns to action with a clear objective: to build on the good sensations experienced in the first round and achieve victory. Javier already reached the podium in Spa, securing the third position in the second race of the weekend. Currently, he holds the fifth position in the championship with 15 points.

Both the driver and Palou Motorsport, a team created by Álex Palou himself, have been working hard at their headquarters to find the maximum performance of the single-seater and ensure a weekend without setbacks. Now, on a Spanish track, Sagrera will seek to surprise the audience and achieve that long-awaited victory, which would be the result of all the work done so far.

"I arrive at the second round of the championship very prepared. We have made good use of these three weeks' break to work on our mistakes and put in a lot of physical and simulator work. We have had time to analyze everything thoroughly, learn from the mistakes alongside the team, and understand what we lacked to win. Motorland is a circuit with very technical sections and a straight at the end, making it a mix of straights and curves that make it very complete. As always, we will hit the track with the mindset of standing on the highest step of the podium and, above all, keep learning and gaining experience," comments the driver, Javier Sagrera.

The second round of Eurocup-3 2023 will kick off on Saturday, May 27, with the free practice sessions. The 20-minute qualifying session will take place later in the afternoon. The moment of truth will arrive at 5:30 p.m. CET on Saturday when the drivers will battle for podium positions at the Motorland track. On Sunday morning, another qualifying session will take place to compete in the last race of the weekend in the afternoon. The event can be followed through the Eurocup-3 YouTube channel.
